This was taken on sunrise from South Tufa in Mono Lake, California during our National Park road trip through Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Yosemite National Parks. We got up bright and early to watch the sunset in this famous spot before we headed back West towards Yosemite National Park. There was a lil bit of a breeze that morning, so I didn’t quite get the mirror-like reflection I was hoping. Mono Lake is by the junction of highways 395 and 120. Highway 120 takes you from the Eastern Sierras up Tioga Pass into Yosemite National Park.
